With many poor-quality brands on the market, it’s important to know the signs of genuine argan oil.
COLOUR: Pure argan oil like ours is known as ‘liquid gold’ because of its rich yellow hue. Darker oils are processed for cooking, while lighter oils are refined, mixed with fillers, such as hexane & parabens.
SMELL: Most argan oils filter out the natural nutty smell, taking the antioxidant activity with it. Others are fragranced, usually to cover up the smell of old kernels.
FEEL: Impure argan oil is greasy & sticky. Real argan oil should disappear into skin fast, and feel silky and smooth.
